| Abstract | The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) announced on 8 December 1997 that the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has appointed Mrs Laura Cha as Deputy Chairman of the SFC with effect from 1 January 1998. Her appointment falls within the same term as her current appointment as an Executive Director of the SFC, which is to 28 February 1999. |
