| Abstract | The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) Information Technology (IT) Division has formed an integrated team of fellow engineers to participate heavily in the Information Infrastructure Advisory Committee (IIAC) organized by Office of the Telecommunications Authority (OFTA) in early 1997 with an objective to establish the information infrastructure for Hong Kong in the years to come. Ir. Anthony S. K. Wong, Director General of OFTA, was invited to present an enlightening picture on the development of Information Infrastructure in Hong Kong. The article is an synopsis of Ir.
