| Abstract | The article talks about a star-type video conferencing network (VCN) which covers the Ministry of Railways (MOR) and 14 railway administrations (RAs). Extension of this network to cover branch railway administrations (BRAs) is underway. It introduces the application of leased-line VCN and dial-up multimedia desk-top conferencing system. It also discusses the prospect of extending leased-line VCN, and the multimedia communications technology as well as its application of desk-top video conferencing system in the network. |
