| Abstract | With the aim of arousing the level of awareness of passengers to safety at all times when they are using the railway system, Mass Transit Railway (MTR) Corporation organizes another MTR Safety Campaign in 1997. The MTR Safety Day Opening Ceremony and Variety Show, jointly organized by the Corporation and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) Radio 2, was held on 2 November 1997 at Telford Plaza, Kowloon Bay to mark the commencement of a month-long MTR Safety Campaign. |
