| Abstract | The Chinese Ceramics Index suffered a five per cent decline in 1996, masking wide variations in the market's different sectors. Demand for early burial goods of the Han to Yuan period - even those of high quality - has fallen away sharply. The Han to Yuan Index fell a furhter 18 per cent leaving it with a rise of just 36 per cent since 1975. |
