| Abstract | The time is past when fleets of young engineers spent their entire careers with the companies that hired them on campus. Not only does the technical knowledge of today's graduates start to fade the day they get their first degree, but before they retire, most of them will have worked for several companies, maybe in different countries. Some would even have ventured out on their own. The author discusses on the topic of how a university can possibly prepare graduates for careers like that in only three years. |
