| Abstract | In Hong Kong, cross border pollution is a problem which is affecting both Hong Kong and its neighbours. Yet action taken to tackle this growing concern has been minimal. This article discusses the solution of the cross border pollution. It appeals to calls from environmentalists and academics to review the Strategic Sewage Disposal Scheme (SSDS) and to spend part of the $20 billion to help prevent further pollution at the source of the East River and the Pearl River Delta. |
