| Abstract | A survey has been carried out to determine the extent of technology transfer in Hong Kong's manufacturing of telecommunications components and equipment. In spite of the small sample size, several conclusions suggest themselves, for example, it seems that technology transfer is indeed the major source of innovation in the telecommunications equipment manufacturing sector in Hong Kong. |
