| Abstract | Hong Kong faces several problems, many stemming from the fundamental structural shift in the economy from manufacturing to services, and the transfer of most of our factories across the border. The author pinpoints that the ultimate test of a great society like Hong Kong is how well it cares for its less fortunate members. He also believes that we must devise a holistic approach and find ways of dealing with these problems as a whole in an effort to come up with solutions. |
