| Abstract | The rise in public hospital charges has created concern among healthcare experts. They say that unless alternative arrangements are made quickly, the health of Hong Kong people will be seriously undermined. Health experts believe that the government cannot cope with heavy subsidies. They say that now is the time to look at other options such as managed care and home care. This article makes an observation on this issue. |
