| Abstract | This article provides a photo feature of farmers thrashing rice. In the past, little machinery was used in harvesting the crops. Once ripened, the seeds were loosened from the stalks by thrashing the bunches into wooden vats, with cylindrical rattan tops or simply against the hard floor. |
