| Abstract | A cyclical audit on the process of diabetes mellitus management in a family medicine clinic is carried out to identify areas of deficiency in the process of diabetic management. A register of diabetic patients attending the author were identified in two phases. The protocol developed by Eli Lilly National Clinical Audit Centre at the Department of General Practice, University of Leicester was used for the criteria and standards. The results of the two phases were analyzed to note which criteria and standards failed to improve. |
