| Abstract | In this article, Ian McPherson, the Director of West Rail, Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC), offers a response to Window's 11 October 1996 cover story "Alternative Tracks" by Francis Cheung on the background of and his suggestion for the Western Corridor Railway. In conclusion, McPherson states that the Corporation believes that the existing West Rail proposal is in keeping with the KCRC's mandate. |
