| Abstract | Between April 30 and May 2, 1997 judges from Hong Kong, Australia, China, Thailand, Italy and Portugal took part in the first ever 1997 Asia Pacific Wine Challenge at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Under the chairmanship of Robert Joseph, wines from 14 countries were gathered and tasted. A truly international affair, there were 330 medal winners with 22 gold medals presented. |
