| Abstract | The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has called for all financial institutions in Hong Kong to make their system 2000-compliant by the end of 1998. All the recognized financial institutions are supposed to submit their preliminary Y2K assessment plans to the Authority by the end of June 1997 - listing their proposed measures to tackle the problem. |
