| Abstract | Macau tourist officials have taken solid steps to combat the long-standing problem of lack of skilled staff. The Institute of Tourism Education and Training set up in September 1996 offers three-year courses in both tourism and hotel management. It's a progression of the diploma-level tourism courses offered through the University of Macau since 1982 and certificate courses from vocational institutes. |
