| Abstract | Sales are expected to increase in value 15 percent for 1997 at Tung Hoi Jewellery Co Ltd in Hong Kong, chairman, Choi Tung Wah, said. "Our sales increased in value 10 percent and increased in volume 20 percent in 1996 compared with 1995 as a result of increased sales of higher quality pearls. Prices are good strong for good quality rounds and near rounds, particularly in 2 millimetre to 3 millimetre at US$700 a kilogram and for pearls above 7 millimetre from US$4,200 a kilogram. |
