| Abstract | To further liberalize its investment policy for overseas manufacturers, the government in China plans to allow more joint-venture jewellery factories to sell part of their production in China. Another objective of the plan is to improve the quality of jewellery made in China to expand sales in overseas markets by inviting more overseas investments that will expedite technological development and improve management skills. |
