| Abstract | The first train for the Airport Railway is now undergoing an extensive series of testing and commissioning on track, operating from the Siu Ho Wan Depot on Lantau Island. The train, built in Spain, was shipped to Hong Kong in January. It will eventually enter service on the domestic mass transit service between Central and Tung Chung New Town. The Mass Transit Railway Corporation expects to complete taking delivery of the full fleet of trains later in 1997. |
