| Abstract | GIS (Geographical Information Systems) is a computerised system of collecting, managing and analyzing geographical data. Now its importance has been recognised locally, with a large-scale GIS project having been developed by the Lands Department of the Hong Kong Government, while a GIS training centre has been established at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, aiming at training local GIS professionals. |
