Abstract | The consumer travel market is getting bigger, but sources of information are getting smaller, according to Business Traveller Asia-Pacific associate publisher Georgina Wong. The magazine, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 1997, is seeing competition for advertising dollars coming mainly from general business and news titles such as the Asian Wall Street Journal and Time magazine. While they are seeing mass regional titles taking some traditional travel ads away from them, they are taking some luxury goods ads away from these titles. |
