| Abstract | A fleet of nine Volvo BM articulated haulers, including two Volvo BM A25C's - the first in Hong Kong - are being used at the North East New Territories (NENT) Landfill site at Ta Kwu Ling, close to the Chinese border. Opened for operation in June 1995, the NENT Landfill is a privately operated site that has a capacity for 354 million tonnes of municipal and contruction waste, with a daily intake of approximately 400 truckloads (3,500 tonnes) of waste. |
