| Abstract | Encouraging jewellers to incorporate the South Sea pearl's unique beauty and singular iridescence into imaginative designs, the competition, organised by the South Sea Pearl Consortium Ltd and sponsored by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, was divided into six categories : Rings, Bracelets, Brooches, Necklaces, Earrings and Pendants, with each category receiving a Gold, Silver and Bronze award. The result of the competition is reported in this aticle. |
