| Abstract | Construction of the Airport Railway has reached another significant milestone with the topping out of the Lai King Station on 31 January 1997. Lai King becomes the future interchange station between the existing Mass Transit Railway (MTR) Tsuen Wan Line and the new Tung Chung Line of the Airport Railway, thus bringing much transport convenience to the residents in Kwai Tsing District as well as bringing the much needed relief to the congestion along MTR Nathan Road Corridor. |
