| Abstract | Interest in the environment is booming in local schools, where there has been a 40 per cent increase in the number of Student Environmental Protection Ambassadors (SEPAs) appointed in 1996. In response to the growing interest, the environmental Campaign Committee (ECC), which runs the SEPA scheme, has set up special training camps to raise the awareness and environmental knowledge of young people. The camps will be held in December 1996 and January 1997, and feature games, dramas and presentations on different environmental issues. |
