Abstract | The Student Environmental Protection Ambassador Scheme (SEPAS) was launched in the 1995-96 school year to run alongside the already established Schools Environmental Award Scheme (SEAS), and more than 1,600 students from 220 primary and secondary schools participated. Through their participation, the students were encouraged to develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment and to take positive action to improve their environment. This article introduces some outstanding students who demonstrated a creative and energetic interest in the environment. |
