| Abstract | The Northern Telecom (China) Company was awarded in January 1997 two contracts from UNICOM, China's second largest telecom company. Worth US$10 million, the two contracts involves expansion of the GSM (global system for mobile communications) mobile communications networks in Shandong province and Ningbo city in Zhejiang province. |
