| Abstract | The author fears that the Chinese Special Administrative Region government will try to isolate the independant trade unions and instead give more resources to the FTU, the pro-Beijing group. By isolation the author thinks that they will ask financial contributors to keep a distance. She expects discontent for the workers will increase but there is some space for the trade unions to voice the workers demands. |
