| Abstract | The Land Development Corporation (LDC) has awarded a tender to redevelop a site in Wan Chai. The site area, bounded by Queen's Road East, Ruttonjee Hospital, Cross Street and Tai Yuen Street, measures 6,453 square metres. The main focus of the redevelopment is a new 6,200 square metre market complex to replace the existing market, which has served the area since the 1930s, and a nearby temporary market. It will enable relocation of on-street hawkers in the area. |
