| Abstract | On 8th March 1996, all staff members, guests as well as parents were present at the Chak On Centre of The Society of Homes for the Handicapped to share in the joy of its formal opening. The Chak On Centre has a service capacity of 33 persons. It provides day training and residential services to adults with moderate to severe mental handicaps. Trainees learn various community living skills and develop their mental abilities through individual training programmes as well as through group activities. |
