| Abstract | While steeped in images of Japan's Meiji Period, the home of Joe and Noriko Juhas on the Peak side-steps traditional minimalist Japanese decor and resonates with a vibrancy and richness of colour and style that reflects influences from both Asia and the West. Dark North Asian wood furnishings fill the multi-level home with more than a whisper of antiquity, and the breadth of both form and texture offered by these historical pieces imparts an unmistakable aura of intrigue.
