| Abstract | The construction of the Beijing Information Infrastructure (BII) will expedite the informatization process of Beijing, the capital, change the mode of economy growth, facilitate the re-adjustment of the industrial structure, and improve productivity and the quality of the people's life. This aticle describes the current state of informatization in Beijing. The necessity of expediting the construction of the BII is explained. The basic structure and the implementation of the BII are also introduced. |
