| Abstract | In Hong Kong 1 in 27 women may develop breast cancer sometime in their life. All women aged 20 and over should be encouraged to practise breast self-examination monthly for early detection of breast cancer. Using a cross-sectional survey research design this study examined factors affecting the practice of breast self-examination behaviour of women in Hong Kong. Results of the study have implications for health promotion and health education practices in Hong Kong. |
