| Abstract | NCR Hong Kong is starting Phase Two of the Hong Kong Police Email Network (PEN) which is an enterprise-wide secured messaging system based on X.400. Enabling the police to communicate at a faster speed by electronic mail and to disseminate electronic bulletins quickly througout the force using intranet, PEN will be interfaced with the existing police information systems to provide system-to-system and system-to-officer messaging. |
