| Abstract | The Ericsson Company has won a contract for the expansion of Shanghai's analog mobile phone network. Worth some US$35 million, it represents the largest ever contract on mobile phone system won by Ericsson in Shanghai. The expansion is scheduled to be completed in April 1997 when the analog mobile phone network will cover the entire city with a capacity to serve 200,000 subscribers. |
