| Abstract | This article describes the telecom development in Chengdu. In the Eighth Five-Year Plan period (1991-1995), telecommunications in Chengdu had made unprecedented progress. A total of 3.1 billion RMB yuan were invested in telecom construction. Such an investment scale is sufficient to build up 10 Chengdu Telecom Offices with a size at the end of the Seventh Five-Year Plan period (1986-1990). |
