| Abstract | To set up a basic regulation as national rules for the online industries and markets, early June 1996, China's State Council has made the mandates of the Provisional Regulations for the Management of International Networking with Computer Information Networks of the People's Republic of China. New rules aim to make nationwide clear-up in domestic online service industries and markets, and restructure various market sectors under the newly defined regulatory goals. |
