| Abstract | When the leading group for information construction under the State Council was established, Vice Premier Zou Jiahua had pointed out that to promote a speedy realization of the two fundamental changes of the national economy, it is of strategic importance to speed up the construction of a national economy based on information. He had also laid out in clear-cut terms the priorities for information construction in 1996, which is given in this article. |
