| Abstract | Beijing telephone network is in construction of a hundred thousands lines project. They are E10B (181) France SPC exchange equipment and use 14 digits code of Yellow book technical specification to set up the essential No. 7 signalling network. Four signalling transit points located in tandom and end mixed offices take an important role in promoting the No. 7 signalling transmission. Beijing telephone traffic increases very fast and the current No. 7 signalling network is not suitable for future development. Reasons are given in this article. |
