| Abstract | In 1996, Shantou will invest 800 RMB yuan in the construction of a large-capacity telecom network with full functionality by using new technologies. As far as long haul communications and transmission are concerned, inter-provincial and international TS circuits will be added. Optic-fiber cables will be built and expanded. Construction of DDN and PSDN will also be speeded up. |
