| Abstract | Natural fabrics in warm colours and elegant styles are expected to dominate China's domestic fashion market in spring and summer of 1997. The trends were reflected in a fashion show in Beijing sponsored by the China National Garment Research and Design Centre and the National Textile Council. Pea green, pale yellow and magenta dominated the chic designs paraded by some of China's most attractive, fast-emerging trained models as they demonstrated the upcoming fashions' four themes - entitled Foggy Metropolis, Spring Melody, Blue Ocean and Sunlight. |
