| Abstract | Global data networking leader 3Com Corporation announced a definitive agreement to acquire Axon Networks Inc. of Newton, Mass., a technological leader in the fast-growing area of remote monitoring of data network traffic. According to Bob Finocchio, executive vice president of 3Com's Network Systems Operations, with Axon technology, 3Com will be able to leverage a wide range of network management capabilities across the 3Com product line. |
