| Abstract | Mr. Wu Jiapei, Vice President of the China Information Association, said that China is speeding up the construction of information infrastructure represented by the Golden Projects: the Golden Bridge project, the Golden Card project and the Golden Customs project. The first one is to provide public economic information network of the State. The second one is designed to promote the computerization of financial sector and modernization of circulation sector. The last one is aimed at interconnection of computer systems of departments involved in foreign trade, customs, taxation, foreign exchange, statistics and banking in a bid to promote the EDI system. |
