| Abstract | More than 80 senior staff gathered at the Polytechnic University's Third Management Workshop in Macau between 16 and 18 September 1996 to explore ways of maximizing productivity and cost-effectiveness under the general theme of "Do More With Less". Welcoming staff to the annual gathering, President Professor Poon Chung-kwong said the theme of 1996's workshop was most timely and appropriate. Universities are required to meet the challenge to increase productivity, accountability and efficiency due to new public expectations of Higher Education. |
