| Abstract | The Polytechnic University (PolyU) has selected two more strategic areas for development into Areas of Excellence (AOE). They are: Apparel Product Development and Marketing, and Rehabilitation Sciences and Bioengineering. In both areas the PolyU is the sole provider of training at tertiary education level in Hong Kong. The University's Institute of Textiles and Clothing will be responsible for developing the AOE in Apparel Product Development and Marketing, while the AOE in rehabilitation will represent the joint efforts of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and the Jockey Club Rehabilitation Engineering Centre. |
