| Abstract | Eighteen producers of Italy's Chianti Classico wine will present their wines, grappas and extra virgin olive oils to Hong Kong at a special event held at the Peninsula Hotel on November 11, 1996. It will be the first time that most of the wine estates and houses have offered their products on the Hong Kong market. According to Dr Giuseppa Liberatore, director of the Chianti Classico producers' consortium, this will be the consortium's first presentation in Hong Kong, a market that is showing steadily increasing interest in Italian wines and foods. |
