| Abstract | As expected, organizing an event that signifies the solidarity of the information technology industry was not an easy task. It inevitably had a lot of issues to be taken into deep considerations compared with organizing a normal social event. Formidable issues such as seeking feedback from the industry, striking a balance amongst different groups, inviting quality attendance, ensuring sound financial support are just a few. Now that the National Celebration Party has received critical acclaim from the industry, it was undoubtedly an activity bound with the issues mentioned above, which were eventually resolved by the Chairman and the 27 Executive Committee members. This article looks at how the Organizing Committee prepared the Celebration Party and what difficulties they encountered in preparing the event. |
