| Abstract | The Mass Transit Railway Corporation (MTRC) immersed the eighth unit of the Western Immersed Tube (WIT) Tunnel on 16 April 1996. Up till mid-April 1996, eight of the ten tunnel units of the WIT Tunnel have been immersed into position. The last tunnel unit is expected to be immersed in late May 1996. |
