| Abstract | Hong Kong exporters showed growing optimism towards export performance, particularly in the long term, according to the DHL Quarterly Export Indicator released in October 1996. DHL Worldwide Express company's Export Indicator Survey is independently commissioned with the Gallup Organisation, research study to measure the level of business confidence among the top manufacturing export industries in 15 countries throughout Asia Pacific. DHL, who commissioned the study, said the report will be updated and printed every three months as new developments occur on the economic, marketing and political fronts. It gauges the business confidence of senior executives in the export industry over the next 12 months,in November 1997 and the next five years, in 2001. |
