| Abstract | These days Hong Kong people are keenly interested in who might be Hong Kong's inaugural chief executive. Nearly everyone has been extolling the importance of integrity as a condition for the chief executive post. According to the author, since integrity is required for almost every occupation that is not criminal, this is not saying very much. Hong Kong people can even assume now that whoever becomes chief executive is morally upright and professionally respected. |
